Underwater scooters are both practical and fun! For the same dive duration, you get to explore more area because you travel faster and cover more ground. Plus, the DPV (Diver Propulsion Vehicle) does a lot of the work for you, reducing your effort and conserving your air. The better the DPV, the more fun and useful it becomes. The only downside? Once you start using one, you’ll always want to have it with you!
With that in mind, this course focuses on extending the adventure – going further, staying longer, and seeing more on all your dives with a DPV. The goal is to teach student divers a systematic, methodical approach to enjoying a DPV. You’ll learn the techniques involved in diving with a DPV within recreational limits, all while avoiding disturbing delicate marine life.

This course is perfect for divers who:
- Are at least 12 years old.
- Have a certification as a PADI Open Water Diver or an equivalent qualification.
- Can either answer NO to all questions on the standard Medical History Form or get approval from a physician before starting the class.

- Self-study materials for you to go through at your own pace.
- Two open water training dives to put your skills into practice.

- Self-study: Enjoy learning in the comfort of your own home.
- Open water dives: Choose from over 50 dive sites we offer.
- Class Start: Diver Propulsion Vehicle Specialty classes can start anytime.
- Training Dives: Open water training dives are available any day of the week.
All activities are done by appointment only to ensure personalized attention.

Students are responsible for providing:
- Transportation to and from all dive/training sites
