This course welcomes divers who meet the following criteria:

• A minimum age of 12 years.
• Hold a certification as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or an equivalent qualification.
• Have completed a PADI Emergency First Responder (CPR & First Aid) course or its equivalent within the past two years.
• Can either respond with NO to all inquiries on the standard Medical History Form or obtain a physician’s approval before the class begins.

This course includes:

• Independent study.
• A single classroom session.
• A full day dedicated to pool training.
• A full day for open water training.

Self-study can be done in the cozy environment of your own home. At Squalo Divers, we conduct both classroom and pool sessions right on-site. Our facility features a heated swimming pool for your comfort. For open water training dives, you can explore any of the over 50 dive sites we have available.

Rescue diver classes are available to start whenever you're ready. Classroom and pool sessions are scheduled during our regular store hours, while open water sessions can be arranged any day of the week. Please note that all activities require an appointment.

The course offers:

• Educational resources.
• Complete instruction.
• Utilization of regulator, BCD, tanks, and weights.
• One day dedicated to pool sessions.
• One day for open water training.
• Processing of certification cards.

Participants must bring all the required equipment listed below, along with:

• Transportation to and from all dive and training sites.
• Meals and drinks.

Students must provide all the necessary equipment outlined below:

• Scuba mask, snorkel, and fins +
• Proper exposure protection (wetsuit) * +
• Underwater compass * +
• Audible surface signal (whistle) +
• Surface signal (safety tube) +
• Swimsuit and towel
